COMPUTER PROJECT

As part of the CKNJ’s Tikkun (Outreach) portfolio, the Computer Project buys and imports reconditioned computers for distribution to various underprivileged institutions. In 2000, the CKNJ saw a need and was able to help.

After distributing 1,200 computers in the first two years alone, the project has sustained a monthly average of 60 machines donated to over 80 schools, orphanages, nursery schools and other institutions, with a special focus on schools for children with special needs. The project is funded by a Jewish benefactor and administered by the CKNJ.
