Durban-Israel Victims Of Terror Enterprises (Divote) defines itself as a project of Gemilut Chasidim (acts of loving kindness). Started in 2001 at the height of the Intifada in Israel, the organization is committed to advancing the cause of kindness in the face of devastation. DIVOTE runs a number of different projects which all give comfort, happiness, dignity and support to as many children as possible.

The projects, which have gained huge momentum in many different communities and Jewish schools across the country, include filling backpacks or baby bags with gifts, clothes, and toys, to be sent to people of all religions and nationalities whose lives have been affected by terror in Israel. The goal is to unite the South African community in a common goal to bring joy, happiness and comfort to children in Israel affected by terrorism. The CKNJ is thrilled to support the worthy work of this unique organization. Divote is willing to work with absolutely anybody.
